Carmen Etchart is a cake designer located in the beautiful oceanside community of White Rock, BC.   

From a young age, Carmen has enjoyed the art of creating.  She started sewing at 5 years old and baking at 11 years old.  Despite many years of experimenting with various art forms, she has always returned to her love of baking edible creations.  

She was Wilton trained in 2003 and, in 2009, she completed the Special Occasion & Wedding Cake course at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in Vancouver, BC.  She has also recently completed several gumpaste courses in floral design and is currently taking refresher Wilton courses. 

She continues to strive to enhance her skills with ongoing education and is always excited to embark upon a new design that will be delicious and visually stunning.
